Hi Meguel, sorry for the delay in replying. Your hardware config looks good to me, in fact it's very similar to mine. I haven't experienced anything like that though in my environment.

Excellent Info, keep the good work.

But I have a n issue, when using FT using the same environment as you did, the secondary machine keeps restarting over and over. My physical machine specs are 2x intel Xeon E5506, MB Intel s5520HC, 24GB RAM ECC DDR3.
Do you get the same thing on your environment ?

Thanks in advance,

Miguel

You're right.. Hey, you are in a top 5 blogposts on planet v12n. Congratulations.... http://blogs.vmware.com/vmtn/2009/07/top-5-planet-v12n-blog-posts-week-28.html

I'm having some issues with the last update of ESXi4 - the last one is this one: VMware-VMvisor-Installer-4.0.0-171294.x86_64.iso

When I want to install ESXi 4 from this file, I have an error saying "could not find kernel image: linux".
Even though the ISO is correct and I can mount it with daemon tools without trouble...

If someone has any idea, twitter to @vladan

Thanks

Thanks Vladan … you don’t really need the complete 32GB, you can see form the video that everything running (including some other hidden VMs) consume only 10-12GB. Which you can get on any whitebox now..

Of course it would be great to have these 32GB to expand your lab towards the “cloud” concept, but hey, it’s a start!
